The Thang: Poison Pill
Five marked staircases along the front of the school each had an exercise written in chalk at the top.  Three teams carried their coupons, some chalk, and a jug of water.  Teams had to summit a staircase, complete 10 reps each of the exercise, and then write a new exercise with for 20 reps.  Teams return to street level and repeat.  If there were two exercises, each PAX did 10 of the first and 20 of the second then wrote a new one for 30.  If there were already 3 a the top, teams did all three, erased with the water and left a new one for 10 reps.  Each erase was one point.
@T-bone and @Spit Valve killed it with four erasures.  Second place was just two.

SSH, bat wings, copperhead merkins, overhead press, and squats, slow jog around the parking lot.

Thang #1:
Hauled 100# med ball and coupons to the discuss area.

Thang #2:
20 hand-release, tuck jump burpees for ranking.

Thang #3:
First finisher took the med ball to the first discus line. Everyone else stays by the throwing area. First finisher has to do one med ball over the shoulder at the first line, 2 at the next, 3 at the next, then 4 at the last line. Ten total.
Others do five block jump overs at the starting area and at four other lines, 25 total. Once complete everyone contributes to a 50 hand-release, tuck jump burpee spittoon.

Round 2: second finisher on the med ball. Others do five block jump overs and five block sits at the starting area and at four other lines, 25 total of each. Same spittoon.

Intermission: one recovery lap scout run with two Bonnie Blairs at the back.

Round 3: hand release block merkins for others. Spittoon.
Round 4: hand release merkins and stupid Jollys (aka nutcrackers).

Intermission: one recovery lap scout run with two squat jumps at the back.

Carry work. Each PAX carried the med ball 75 yards or to failure. Others either rifle carry or farmer’s carry.

Round 5: blockees with spittoon at the end.

Back to the flag.

Thang 1: Run a lap then do sets of 10, 20, 30, and 40 reps moving to the next cone for each new number. The first five to finish their lap start the reps. The next five join someone already in progress and help complete the reps. #11 joins the slowest group and helps them finish. Lunge walk back to the start and repeato with a new exercise.
Round 1 – block sits

Round 3 – Bonnie Blairs (1=1)
Round 4 – Split squats
Round 5 – coupon jump overs

This would have worked better on the track using lanes. Too bad @Banks wasn’t the Q.

Thang – Play Ultimate.  Five points wins.  After the win, each team’s youngest two players rock, paper, scissors.  Losers switch teams.  Second game to five.  Only completed two games.

Moleskin: In a study, three groups were asked to track how much they exercised over the next three weeks.  Group A was told just that.  Group B watched a motivational video about the benefits of exercise and Group C was shown the same video and was directed to write down this sentence: “I will take part in 20 minutes of vigorous exercise on this date, at this time, at this place.”  They found that about 33% of groups A and B followed through.  91% of group C did.  Just the practice of writing down your specific intentions almost tripled your likelihood of doing it.  If there is a habit you want to do: reading your Bible, complimenting your M, stretching, etc, write down your intentions.

The Thang:
At the top of the hill at the front of the school:
250 hand release blockees as a group.
We took a break at each 100 to take a lap down the driveway and back up a staircase the PAX chooses.
Same with 250 outlaws, 250 uneven merkins with one hand on the coupon (2=1), 250 block bbsu with the coupon touching above your head and by your feet, 250 deep squat jumps. On the down your butt touches the coupon.

7 MOM: chest press flutter kicks ICx20, boat canoe

Moleskin: There is a study where they surveyed 600+ adults and followed them for the next 23 years. They grouped the participants into two groups: those that viewed aging in a positive light and those who were mostly negative about aging. The positive group lived an average of 7.6 years longer than the negative group. Your mindset matters. People often ask me how I stay so fit. I usually just say, “Because I work out six days a week.” It is that, but it’s also because I expect to get faster, stronger, and better. I’m not sure that’s a realistic expectation, but it does keep me stiving anyway.

Thang 1: Dead arm hang to failure.  Squats until all fail.

Thang 2: We moseyed around the inner loop to locate the baskets and tees for the disc golf course, starting at nine, cutting across to the basket at 4 and following the course through hole 8.

Thang 3: Speed golf.  Throw and run.  PAX in the lead must Bernie until he’s passed.  Disc must get into the cage or onto the next tee pad.  Early finishers start burpee spittoon to 100.

Thang 4: Reverse course.  Number of throws to complete the hole gets multiplied by five or ten. That’s your rep count after the hole.  First hole, burpees, second, shoulder taps, third, plank jacks.

Thang 5: Scramble with a partner back to Hole eight.

Thang 6: Dead arm hang to failure.  Air thruster spittoon to 100 upon failure.

3 MOM: We finished up with 50 flutters IC with varying cadence from normal to slowing way down then back to normal.

Moleskin: The 2 minute rule to trick your brain into doing hard things.  The greatest amount of motivation is needed for the first two minutes of any habit you are trying to form.  Commit to those first two minutes.  You have a high probability of continuing as the amount of motivation needed decreases dramatically once you get past those first two minutes.

COT: Prayers for those involved in a big accident right in front of @beaker’s house at 4:10 AM this morning.  It looked like someone may have gone through their windshield on impact with the telephone pole.

The thang:
5v5 ultimate frisbee.
Great back and forth game. Lots of running. Fewer unforced errors than usual.
Game ended at 6:15 with a throw deflected by a defender and corralled by @Jolly in the end zone for the tie.

Mindset matters. View struggles and challenges as opportunities to grow and you will. Give up quickly and remain stagnant. Push yourself, don’t hurt yourself.

Thang 1:
After running a lap around the school, the first three PAX started their reps at the cones, increasing the number of reps at each cone as they worked their way up to the spa. 10, 20, 30, 40. Next three to arrive joined one of the first three PAX and helped finish the reps. Once the reps were complete, PAX ran another lap around the school. Last two to finish ran a short lap around the parking lot instead of the school.

@Jolly finished his 100 bbsus just before his help arrived.

Seven minutes of Mary:
