Moleskine:F3 Moleskin: The Upside-Down Kingdom
QIC: YHC
Text: Genesis 4, 21, 25, 48 | 1 Sam 16 | 1 Cor 1
MOLESKINE:
The world values size, status, and raw power. Both then and now, the world despises meekness, viewing it as weakness. But God continuously flips that script: Cain vs. Abel: Heart posture over birth order.
Ishmael vs. Isaac: Divine promise over human striving.
Esau vs. Jacob: The elder serves the younger.
Manasseh vs. Ephraim: Jacob intentionally crosses his arms to bless the lesser. Eliab vs. David: Man looks at outward appearance; God looks at the heart.
This all points directly to Jesus—the ultimate fulfillment. He redefined meekness not as weakness, but as strength under control. While the world demanded a conquering warrior, Jesus got low, embraced meekness as a supreme virtue, and conquered through service and the cross. ”God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.” — 1 Cor 1:27 The Takeaway:
Drop the pride. High-impact men don’t mistake meekness for passivity—they harness real strength to serve, protect, and lead from the heart. Aye!
— YHC

– 10 Bonnie Blairs (right leg-left leg = 1 rep)
– 10 Jungle Boy Squats
– 10 Bonnie Blairs (right leg-left leg = 1 rep)
– 10 Thrusters

– uneven block merkens (2-is-1) and nutcracker situps
– CPRs and one-armed rows (each arm)
– merkens and BBSs (didn’t quite finish these)

Moleskine: How do people end up on the wrong side of the ethical line? It’s not because they don’t know but, often, because they rationalized their way there bit-by-bit. To help with that, keep people around you who will help you keep your lines.

Good mornings x10 OYO
Copperhead squats x10 in cadence

The Thang:
We rifle carried our coupons along the path to the SHOP, stopping at a few light posts for 4 sets of core and arm exercises at each one. Exercises were completed “six style,” where each PAX shouted a number when they reached the target number and kept going until the six shouted “FIVE,” indicating that the six was in.

We stopped at the newly upgraded SHOP, which will be a welcomed source of light come winter. Then, we continued our rifle carrying up past COOTIEs. Once past, Beaker noticed the sunrise was particularly beautiful this morning, so YHC had the PAX leave their coupons for a manrise and squats at the top of Hoffa. We returned to our coupons in time to arrive back at the flag for 1 minute of Al Gore.

Moleskine:
A recent article in the WSJ called “https://www.wsj.com/lifestyle/relationships/oreogate-viral-mom-chat-meanest-playground-3fcf52f1” has this to say, “We’ve dramatically increased our access to one another, without increasing trust or conflict resolution skills.” It encourages us to exercise the freedom to not respond to every group text we receive and to be direct without being evasive. (For example, “Would it be so bad to send a text that said, ‘Sorry, Michelle, but I’m going to keep sending Oreos [in my kids’ lunches]. That’s what works for my family’?” she says. “No emojis, no hearts, no more engagement.”)

In F3, we’ve built up trust over long periods of time. Use that trust. You can be direct with each other and trust that our relationships can withstand a little conflict if it should arise.
